The match was over after 24 minutes.
As many raised eyebrows at Mark Hughes’s selection for his Stoke XI at Stamford Bridge, the Blues tore Potters apart.
Antonio Rudiger opened with a header. Danny Drinkwater doubled the lead with a stunner from outside the box – his first goal for Chelsea.
Pedro Rodriguez added a third with a fine strike from the edge of the Stoke area.
After two assists in the first half, Willian found the target in second period from the penalty spot.
Davide Zappacosta wrapped up the scoring for Chelsea late on.
Willian trolled Alvaro Morata
After the game Chelsea TV caught up with the man of the match: Willian.
Willian has an amazing record against Stoke, while he’s also found found for Antonio Conte in recent weeks.
The Brazilian was chuffed after Saturday’s performance, and he celebrated the win in a post match interview.
But Willian also made fun of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who missed a couple of chances in the match.
Willian joked: “If Morata scored, I would have 2 more assists today!”
