Brazil vs Serbia
On Wednesday at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow, Brazil take on Serbia at the World Cup.
Could Brazil be dumped out of the World Cup in the group phase? Heading in to the final round of matches, Brazil lead the standings with four points.
Brazil drew with Switzerland before beating Costa Rica with two late injury time goals.
But Brazil are under immense pressure. The Swiss also have four points, while they take on Costa Rica (0 points) in their final match.
Serbia are on three points. The Serbs will reach the last 16 if they can beat the South Americans.
Good for Willian, bad for Roberto Firmino
On Tuesday, Globo Esporte have looked into the Brazil XI for the Serbia game.
While the line-up could be changed, Globo believe that they have the inside track on Tite’s XI.
Chelsea midfielder Willian is once again in line to start for Brazil in midfield.
Up front, there is still no room in the team for Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino.
Brazil XI vs Serbia ‘confirmed’
Globo announce that Tite will field the same Brazil XI who started the Costa Rica game against Serbia.
That means that Man City defender Danilo will again miss out. Danilo is suffering with a hip injury.
Also on the sidelines in Juventus winger Douglas Costa. Costa is hampered with a muscle problem in his right thigh.
Three Brazilians come into the Serbia game on a booking. Casemiro, Philippe Coutinho and Neymar are all walking a suspension tightrope.
With all that said, the Brazil XI vs Serbia should be as follows.
