Willian’s new Chelsea number
During an interview with Brazilian TV show Desimpedidos, Willian has revealed that he’ll wear a new number at Chelsea this season.
Last season, Willian wore the #22 shirt at Stamford Bridge.
However, in the wake of Eden Hazard’s move from the Blues to Real Madrid this summer, the Belgian’s shirt is up for grabs.
Willian has now confirmed that he’s been offered the number 10 jersey, and he’s taking it.

For the record, Willian wore the Brazil #10 shirt at the recent Copa America.
Moreover, Willian has worn that number at Shakhtar Donetsk and Anzhi Makhachkala prior to joining the Blues.
What number will Christian Pulisic wear?
Chelsea fans saw Christian Pulisic in action for the first time in a Blues’ shirt over the weekend.
Last Friday, Pulisic was in action as Chelsea lost 1-0 in Japan to Kawasaki Frontale.
During that match, the US international wore the #24 shirt.
That was previously Gary Cahill’s number with the Pensioners, before his contract expired at the end of last season.
Chelsea have previously confirmed that Pulisic’s #24 shirt isn’t fixed.
So will the American now inherit Willian’s #22?
Christian Pulisic will wear the number 24 in our friendly versus Kawasaki Frontale.
Please note, squad numbers are not confirmed. The numbers the players wear tonight, are not necessarily what they will wear during the season.
