Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah quits Twitter
He had millions of followers on Twitter, however Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has shut down his social media account.
Eagle-eyed social media followers have noticed that Salah has disappeared from Twitter on Wednesday.
Those wishing to follow Salah on social media can still find him on Instagram.
Salah’s final tweet
Salah has deleted his Twitter account after posting the following cryptic tweet earlier this week.
The tweet read: “2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real.”
Why has Salah quit Twitter?
The Liverpool Echo have speculated about why Salah may have shut down his account.
It’s believed that Salah may be reacting to his ongoing problems with the Egyptian FA:
Some fans speculated that Salah may have dropped a cryptic hint that he wants to resolve his dispute with the Egyptian FA.
The row first started last year after a photo featured on the outside of the national team’s official plane, provided by official sponsor ‘WE’ – despite his own individual sponsorship deal with rival telecommunications firm Vodafone.

Don't blame Mo for deleting twitter. It's mad the abuse he's been receiving. And sad.. The world is a real mess with some really bad people out there but johnMUFC4lyf or whoever on twitter call Mo Salah disgusting or a disgrace cos someone kicked him and he fell. Bigger issues.
