Why Liverpool forward Sadio Mane hates PlayStation

Why Mane doesn’t play PlayStation

Sadio Mane is having perhaps his best ever season in a Liverpool shirt.

With Mohamed Salah in a bit of a goal drought, Mane has taken the lead in being Liverpool’s main goalscorer.

The Senegalese winger has now scored 17 and assisted two in 29 Premier League appearances this campaign.

The reason why Mane is doing so well and has become such a top footballer may well have been revealed.

According to Mane, he does not go to parties and is not a fan of playing video games either and instead puts all of his focus on football:

“I never went to a party on my own.

“I never even think about it. If I don’t give everything I have to be a good footballing, I’ll never achieve anything.

“I never liked it[PlayStation], I’ve never played it. I think it’s something that wastes your time. I don’t want to lose mine in return for nothing.”As quoted by Marca.

Many footballers do, however, enjoy video games including Tottenham’s Harry Kane who occasionally plays with Fortnite streamer, Ninja.

Liverpool vs Tottenham

One thing is certain, both Kane and Mane will need to be 100% focused for their upcoming clash.

When the international break ends Liverpool will host Tottenham in a must-win game for both sides.

Liverpool are sat two points above Man City at the top of the table but City do have a game in hand.

As for Spurs, they are now in danger of slipping out of the top four after losing four of their last five league outings.
