An explanation for Divock Origi missing out for Liverpool against Wolves has been provided.

The Reds are set to face off with Wolves on Sunday afternoon, kicking off at 4 pm UK time alongside the Premier League's other 18 clubs.

Liverpool must win the game to stand any chance of pipping Manchester City to the English top-flight title.

The Sky Blues sit one point ahead of Liverpool on the final day, meaning a win over Aston Villa would ensure Pep Guardiola of a 4th English title.
