Morata linked with move away from Chelsea
After failing to make his mark at Chelsea, Alvaro Morata is increasingly being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Spaniard arrived at Chelsea back in 2017 from Real Madrid and had a decent start to life in the Premier League.
Morata would score six in his first six Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
Since then, however, the 26-year-old has failed to consistently score goals and often misses easy chances.
One team reportedly wanting to rescue Morata from his Chelsea nightmare is Spanish outfit, Sevilla.
According to AS, Morata’s agent has opened talks with Sevilla over a potential transfer.
Morata not in Chelsea squad to face Tottenham
As a result, when Morata was left out of Chelsea’s matchday squad to face Tottenham on Tuesday, many people thought it was because he was set to join Sevilla.
However, it has since been confirmed Morata is not in the Chelsea squad vs Spurs due to a knee injury.
Morata played and scored twice as Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest this past weekend. But he is said to have picked up the knee injury in that game.

To get to the semi-final vs Spurs, Chelsea have picked up wins vs Liverpool, Derby County and Bournemouth.
Spurs have had to see off Watford, West Ham and Arsenal to make it this far.
