Malmo vs Chelsea
Chelsea will face Malmo on Thursday in the first leg of their Europa League tie.
The Blues have been in poor form of late and facing a side such as Malmo should be a great way for them to get some confidence back.
Chelsea lost their last game 6-0 vs Manchester City, their biggest defeat since 1991.
The City humiliation means Chelsea have now lost three of their last five Premier League games.
This has season Chelsea slip out of the top four and down to 6th.
So, if Chelsea’s poor league form continues, their only way of getting Champions League football next season would be by winning the Europa League.
Alonso & Loftus-Cheek left out of Chelsea squad
As Chelsea are away for the first leg, they have released the list of players who have made the trip to Sweden.
The full Chelsea squad in Malmo is as followed:
Kepa Arrizabalaga, Willy Caballero, Jamie Cumming, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta, Davide Zappacosta, Ethan Ampadu, Andreas Christensen, David Luiz, Emerson, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho, Ross Barkley, Eden Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Gonzalo Higuain, Olivier Giroud.

Two big names missing from the squad are Marcos Alonso and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Evening Standard has since revealed why the duo did not make the squad.
Loftus-Cheek did not make the trip to Sweden as he was still suffering from a back injury that has plagued him throughout much of the season.
Marcos Alonso, however, is not injured. The Standard is suggesting he has been left at home due to his dip in form and due to Alonso needing a rest.
