Why Adama Traore is absent for Wolves vs Everton & status for weekend Baggies clash
An explanation for Adama Traore’s absence from Wolverhampton Wanderers’ squad to take on Everton this evening has been provided.
Weakened Blues
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are set to return to Premier League action shortly, in a meeting with the Toffees at Molineux.
Both sides will head into proceedings with their tails up, on the back of respective FA Cup victories over the weekend.
Wolves booked their spot in the competition’s 4th-round courtesy of a 1-0 downing of Crystal Palace, whilst Everton got the better of Rotherham by 2 goals to 1.

The Blues’ latest win, however, came with Carlo Ancelotti having been unable to call on a whole host of his side’s star performers.
The likes of Allan, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were all absent on Saturday, due to respective fitness problems.
And, upon Everton’s XI to line out at Molineux being announced a short time ago, it quickly became evident that the club’s injury woes have not yet subsided:

‘A little problem’
This evening’s visitors, however, are not the only ones set to head into proceedings short-staffed.
Wolves of course currently have the likes of Willy Boly, Daniel Podence and Raul Jimenez sidelined, with yet another key member of Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad having since been added to the club’s absentee list.
The player in question? Adama Traore:

In turn, speaking during a pre-match interview a short time ago, Nuno was inevitably drawn on Traore’s absence.
And the Portuguese went on to reveal that his side’s blistering wide-man picked up a ‘little’ muscle problem versus Palace last time out. Traore could, though, return to the fray when Wolves welcome West Brom to Molineux on Saturday:
Nuno: “Adama is not ready to go today, he had a little problem in the previous game, something in the muscle, he didn’t train. Hopefully he’ll be an option for (Saturday).”
“Morgan’s first game in some time, we have to manage him, but he knows the routines on the team.”
