Then, in a fresh development, Sky Sports revealed that PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is Manchester United’s no.1 choice to become their new manager next summer:

Who Sir Alex Ferguson wants to be Manchester United manager

The Scotsman is the greatest manager in Premier League history, and United have not come close to matching the heights they achieved under his watch since his retirement in 2013.

In turn, now, according to reporter Ian Abrahams, Ferguson wants Mauricio Pochettino to be United’s next man in charge:

Sources close to Sir Alex Ferguson say the former United manager wants Mauricio Pochettino as the club’s next manager. He thinks Zidane will go to PSG releasing Poch to move to Old Trafford
