A big injury
West Ham have revealed Andriy Yarmolenko will miss the next six months.
After being stretchered off against Tottenham Hotspur, the fears for the summer signing were immediate.
Now, Standard Sport claim he will miss the next six months, meaning his season could well be over.
The injury is to his Achilles, and is yet another injury issue for the club.
Carlos Sanchez is out for four months, and Jack Wilshere has been in and out of the side with his own injuries.
Hope for the Hammers
They may have lost against Spurs, but the Hammers gave a good account of themselves.
It’s two losses in a row now for the club, but there is certainly hope.
The injuries will of course be a huge blow to Manuel Pellegrini.
After getting the vote of confidence from Karren Brady and the board, results did improve.
Now, its no points from the last six.
The club need all the quality they can get at the minute, and to have someone ruled out for six months is a huge setback.
Pellegrini does have options. Michail Antonio, Robert Snodgrass and young starlet Grady Diangana can fill the hole left by former BVB player Yarmolenko.
