West Ham rejected in €60m Andrea Belotti bid – Tuttosport

West Ham’s striker search

As things stand, West Ham United aren’t exactly blessed with many options in the centre-forward department.

Andy Carroll was released on a free transfer earlier this summer, with Lucas Perez having made the switch to Spain.

The Hammers would then lose their 2018/19 top goalscorer Marko Arnautovic to China.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side did, though, look to be closing in on a deal for Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez recently.

However, Valencia announced on Sunday the 14th of July that they had landed Gomez.

Torino reject West Ham bid

As a result, the Hammers will now need to look elsewhere in order to reinforce their weak striking options.

Well, on Monday, July 15th, Italian outlet Tuttosport is claiming that the London club are in for Torino striker, Andrea Belotti.

The latest front page of Tuttosport claims that Torino have rejected a €60m offer from West Ham for the Italian.

Belotti has spent the past four years at Torino, after moving from Palermo in 2015.

In total, the striker has scored 70 and assisted 14 in 148 appearances for Torino.

This past season saw Belotti net 17 and assist one in 39 outings.

Belotti is believed to have a release clause of €100m.
