West Ham fans take aim at Fabian Balbuena vs Watford

West Ham vs Watford

West Ham faced Watford on Saturday afternoon as they looked to continue their fine run of form.

After losing their first four games of the season, the Hammers looked to be finally coming into their own under Manuel Pellegrini.

Prior to the Watford clash, West Ham were on a four-game win streak in the Premier League and just two points off 6th place Man United.

As for Watford, their away form has not been great this season but a win vs West Ham could have seen them move up to 6th in the table.

Balbuena gives away a penalty

The first half was very much dominated by Watford who caused West Ham’s defence all sorts of problems.

Watford’s dominance was eventually rewarded in the 30th minute.

Pereyra, who has been one of Watford’s best players this season, would make his way into the West Ham box.

The midfielder would then be pulled down by Fabian Balbuena giving away a penalty, which Troy Deeney would step up and convert.

To make matters worse, Balbuena would also injury himself while giving away said penalty.
