West Ham fans single one player out for special praise after win over Viborg

Supporters of Premier League outfit West Ham United have taken to social media on Thursday evening, to single one member of David Moyes’ squad out for widespread praise.

The Irons, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

Amid the club’s efforts to secure a return to the European stage, Moyes and co. welcomed Danish outfit Viborg to the London Stadium, for the first of a two-legged Europa Conference League qualifying tie.

And, when all was said and done, the evening’s hosts put themselves firmly in the driver’s seat for a spot in the competition’s group stages.

The player in question? Said Benrahma.

After being forced to make do with a spot on the bench from the off, wide-man Benrahma was thrown into the fray 25 minutes from time, as the evening’s hosts went in search of a killer third goal.

And the Algerian did not take at all long to prove the catalyst for precisely that:

On the back of an equally impressive showing at Nottingham Forest last time out, praise for Benrahma, in turn, has since spread like wildfire across social media, with just some of the Twitter highlights showcased below:
