West Ham consider move for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson after Maxi Gomez snub
West Ham consider signing Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson
Now 27, Callum Wilson is under contract at Bournemouth until 2022.
Since joining the Cherries back in 2014 from Coventry, Wilson has scored 33 Premier League goals in 91 games.
Last season, Wilson scored 14 goals, and chipped in with nine assists, in 30 Premier League appearances.
According to the Times on Monday, West Ham could try to sign the Bournemouth attacker this summer. The broadsheet reports:
West Ham could turn to Callum Wilson but have doubts over the Bournemouth striker’s injury record.
The 27-year-old has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in both knees in the space of 16 months.
How much would Callum Wilson cost West Ham?
The Times fail to state Callum Wilson’s price tag.
Previously, Wilson has been said to have a 50 million pound price tag.
When Chelsea were linked to the Bournemouth striker back in January, manager Eddie Howe said that Wilson wasn’t for sale at any price.
Is that still Bournemouth’s position?

Maxi Gomez snubs West Ham
If reports coming out of Spain are accurate, then Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez isn’t heading to West Ham.
While the Hammers had been chasing the striker, Maxi Gomez appears to be on the verge of joining Valencia.
