West Ham boss David Moyes gives Felipe Anderson update before Leicester

Leicester vs West Ham

West Ham will travel to Leicester City on Wednesday evening.

You can check out 101’s betting tips for the clash here.

The two sides will begin the game week’s action at opposite ends of the table with the Hammers teetering above the relegation zone.

However, despite their contrasting league positions, the two outfits are in similarly poor form.

Both West Ham and Leicester have lost three of their last five Premier League outings and could really do with a win on Wednesday.

Moyes on Anderson

Prior to their clash with Leicester, David Moyes held his latest press conference on Tuesday.

During the presser, the Scotsman provided a rather negative update on Felipe Anderson.

The Brazilian missed West Ham’s last clash vs Everton and it sounds as though Anderson could be absent for a few more ties.

Moyes stated on Tuesday that the pacey winger could be out for around four weeks:

“Felipe’s got a problem with his back from the landing which he had in the game [against Sheffield United], which looks as if it’s going to keep him out for a while.

“A while looks like probably four weeks, we think.” As quoted by West Ham’s official website.

Moyes would also provide updates on Michail Antonio and Andriy Yarmolenko:

“Michail Antonio’s getting closer to fitness. He’s been training with us now so he’s getting a little bit closer.

“Yarmolenko we still think’s probably the best part of three weeks away at the moment. We could do with getting some back because of the busy programme, but sometimes game after game for the players isn’t a bad thing. Sometimes it also focuses them and hopefully we’ll keep our form going at the moment.” As quoted by West Ham’s official website.
