West Ham’s 10-man injury crisis before Huddersfield

Huddersfield Town vs West Ham

There’s a big game at the Kirklees Stadium on Saturday as Huddersfield Town take on West Ham.

Will Huddersfield stay in the Premier League this season?

After 22 rounds of the campaign the Terriers are defying almost every pre-season prediction.

They are 11th in the table with 24 points on the board.

Yet David Wagner’s side are far from safe in the English top flight. They are just four points above the bottom three.

As for West Ham, David Moyes’s men are 15th in the division with 22 points on the board.

Hammers 10-man injury problem

How will the Irons line up this Saturday?

David Moyes has significant problems before the Huddersfield game as ten players have injuries.

Five players have already been ruled out of contention against the Terriers.

At the back Jose Fonte (ankle), Sam Byram (thigh) and James Collins (muscular injury) are all out.

Edimilson Fernandes and Diafra Sakho are also out of contention with injuries.

There are question marks over two of West Ham’s best players. Marko Arnautovic has a thigh issue while Michail Antonio has a groin problem.

The remaining injury concerns surround Aaron Cresswell (back), Reece Oxford (ankle) and Winston Reid (groin).

Huddersfield also have injury problems

David Wagner also has problems before the Hammers match.

Definitely out are Jon Stankovic and Elias Kachunga, who have ACL and MCL problems respectively.

There are also doubts over Collin Quaner and new signing Terence Kongolo.
