Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal can win Premier League under Arteta
Arsenal impressing
It is fair to say that, since taking the reins at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta has completely transformed Arsenal.
The Spaniard, in spite of his limited experience in management, has taken a previously hapless Gunners side, and turned them into an outfit capable of competing with the Premier League’s elite.
Arsenal finished in a disappointing 8th place in the English top-flight last season, though Arteta didn’t take over until late in December.
And, despite having not been at the club for even a full year as of yet, the former Man City assistant has already guided the north Londoners to two pieces of silverware, beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final, and Liverpool for the Community Shield.

Wenger backs Arteta to win Premier League
Arsenal have since enjoyed a similarly positive start to the 2020/21 campaign, too.
They have won three and lost one of their first four Premier League outings, with their solitary defeat having come at the hands of champions Liverpool at Anfield.
The Gunners are also into the last eight of the League Cup, after seeing off Jurgen Klopp’s side in the previous round.
As such, with the Arsenal board having provided their backing to Arteta on the transfer front this summer, too, there is most certainly cause for optimism on the red half of north London right now.
And one man who appears to share such optimism is none other than Arsenal legend and Arteta’s former boss, Arsene Wenger,
Speaking this week, the Frenchman revealed his opinion that Arteta is capable of guiding the Gunners to a Premier League title:
“I genuinely believe yes, because he looks to have a good grip on the team.
“They follow well, they are with him. We have bought well, spent a lot of money in the last two years. Suddenly we discovered huge resources – that was quite surprising.
“I think he has the quantity and quality of players, yes we can go for it. Why not?”
