Premier League clubs vote for earlier deadline
One piece of news from Thursday that will interest Watford and all Premier League clubs is the changes to the transfer window.
The 20 clubs voted to bring the deadline forward to the day before the season starts to help benefit the clubs.
That will mean that the clubs will have their squads locked in place for when the season starts.
Though, that will bring many challenges with it as the foreign transfer windows will still stay open until September.
The new rules will come into place during the 2018/19 summer window and will continue that way.
Not only that, there could be some big issues when it comes down to the World Cup.
