Watford winger Sarr: Liverpool’s Sadio Mane ‘like a big brother to me’

Watford vs Liverpool

Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off sees relegation-battling Watford play host to table-topping Liverpool.

You can check out 101’s betting tips for the clash here, or find out how to watch the tie here.

After coming from behind to clinch a 3-2 win over West Ham earlier this week, Jurgen Klopp’s side are now just four league wins away from bagging their first-ever Premier League title.

Meanwhile, Watford are still fighting for their lives at the wrong end of the table, after failing to win any of their last five league ties.

The Hornets would move out of the bottom three with a victory on Saturday, though, as 17th placed Aston Villa are in League Cup action this weekend.

Sarr on Mane

Prior to taking on Liverpool, Watford winger Ismaila Sarr has been speaking about his relationship with Sadio Mane.

Both Sarr and Mane ply their trade on the international stage with Senegal, with both wingers having featured as Senegal lost out to Algeria in the 2019 African Cup of Nations final.

And when speaking about his Senegalese counterpart, Sarr was full of praise for Mane, stating that he is like a big brother.

The Watford standout also spoke about how the more experienced Mane keeps in touch with him and offers guidance:

“Mane is like a big brother to me, like he is to all my generation, we follow his example, he is a good person & we all follow him.

“He’s always helping me, keeps in touch with me, texting me especially when I was injured telling me what to do.”
