Virgil Van Dijk trolls Ryan Babel after Liverpool’s win at Fulham

Virgil Van Dijk trolls Ryan Babel

Liverpool beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage on Sunday in the Premier League.

James Milner scored Liverpool’s winner from the penalty spot after Ryan Babel had levelled for Fulham.

Babel took advantage of a mistake in the Liverpool backline to score.

Milner sliced a pass over Virgil Van Dijk, and the Reds centre-half stuttered before making a move.

Van Dijk ultimately tried to head the ball to Alisson, but the Liverpool goalie had already raced out his goal.

In the confusion, Babel slipped in to put the ball in the net.

Both Babel and Van Dijk are now with the Dutch team during the international break.

When quizzed about his mistake on Monday, Van Dijk trolled Babel saying:

I thought: let me give Ryan some confidence before the matches against Belarus and Germany.

We talked about it briefly on the plane and Ryan has posted something on social media, but now all of us are focusing on Orange again.

Liverpool moved into top spot in the Premier League after the win at Fulham.

Man City are two points behind the Reds, but they also have a game in hand.

Fulham remain nailed-on for relegation. The Cottagers are second bottom of the league with only 17 points.
