Vinicius Jr. bags latest Real Madrid award

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. has, on Saturday, bagged his latest individual prize.

The award in question? Los Blancos’ Player of the Month for March.

As those of a Real persuasion will be well aware, wide-man Vinicius now, of course, represents one of the first names on the team sheet of boss Carlo Ancelotti.

In turn, it came as little surprise to see the 22-year-old afforded starts in all five of his side’s outings this month, seeing out the full 90 minutes in all but one.

Across this stretch, Vinicius played a central role in the capital giants’ pair of victories, too, first levelling things up en route to a comeback downing of Espanyol, before laying on what proved to be the winner in a 1-0 Champions League triumph over Liverpool.

And, as alluded to above, on Saturday, such efforts have been very much recognised by the Real Madrid faithful.

As confirmed across social media a short time ago, Vinicius has been voted the club’s Player of the Month for March, beating out competition from the likes of Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao.

The prize marks the Brazilian’s 2nd straight, after he also secured best of the bunch bragging rights at the Santiago Bernabeu for February.
