Supporters of Premier League outfit Leeds United have flocked to social media on Friday, to send a message to the club’s board regarding star man Raphinha.

At the double

The name of wide-man Raphinha has of course taken centre stage in the headlines once again over the last 24 hours.

This comes on the back of the Leeds man’s latest display on the international stage.

After dropping their first points of an otherwise flawless World Cup qualifying campaign last time out, Brazil welcomed Uruguay to Manaus, looking for a bounce-back result in the early hours of Friday morning.

And, when the 90 minutes were said and done, return to winning ways is precisely what the Selecao managed.

The star of the show? That man Raphinha.

After emerging from the bench to devastating effect on a pair of occasions across this week’s international break, ‘Raph’, versus Uruguay, was handed a first-ever start in the colours of his country.

And to say that he went on to take full advantage of the opportunity afforded to him would be something of an understatement.

Amid a dazzling performance on the right wing, the former Rennes man bagged a pair of goals, forming a deadly partnership with Paris Saint-German superstar Neymar en route to a 4-1 win:

‘Give him what he wants’

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear that, in the aftermath of his latest scintillating outing, Raphinha’s club have since been keen to highlight the exploits of their headline-making attacker.

Taking to social media on Friday, Leeds posted the following ‘Raphinha admiration tweet’:

And the club’s fanbase have since made use of the opportunity to send a crystal clear message to the board at Elland Road, urging those in a position of power in West Yorkshire to do all they can to tie the 24-year-old down for the long-term:
