Video: Neymar combination returns as Lionel Messi dazzles in PSG training

 

Footage of Lionel Messi showing off his talents at Paris Saint-Germain’s latest training session has gone viral on Monday evening.

The name of Argentine superstar Messi has of course taken centre stage in the media over the last couple of weeks.

This comes with the legendary attacker, on the back of a 21-year spell with the club, having been forced to bid farewell to La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.

Just hours after it had been widely reported that a contract agreement between the two parties was close, the Blaugrana released a statement, admitting that they had essentially been left with no choice but to part with the club’s greatest-ever player.

Widespread chatter, in turn, swiftly followed surrounding where Messi could end up next, with the 34-year-old having been available as a free agent.

When all was said and done, though, despite the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all being tipped as potential landing spots, it came as little surprise when the 6-time Ballon d’Or winner opted to take his talents to France, with Paris Saint-Germain:

Messi, in turn, has since gone on to link up with his new teammates, ahead of what is widely expected to prove a trophy-laden season in the French capital.

And, as outlined above, on Monday, footage of the Argentine providing a first glimpse of his talents, in person, to several members of PSG’s squad, has begun to turn heads across social media.

In a clip posted to the club’s official social media platforms, Messi can be seen both finding the net and teeing up others in training, with one particularly noteworthy combination coming at the 22-second mark, when the veteran exchanges passes with ex-Barcelona teammate and close friend Neymar, before lashing home:
