Footage of Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland being escorted from the premises of a Norwegian nightclub has been garnering widespread attention online over the last 24 hours.
Teenage striker Haaland has of course established himself as one of world football’s most highly-regarded youngsters over the last 12 months.
On the back of a scintillating opening half to the season on the books of Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg, during which he racked up a staggering 28 goals in 21 appearances across all competitions, a number of Europe’s top clubs inevitably began sniffing around the 19-year-old’s signature.
In the end, it was Borussia Dortmund who beat out the competition to clinch a January deal for Haaland, with the attacker having made the move to Signal Iduna Park for a fee of around €20 million.
And to say that Haaland has since gone on to repay Dortmund’s faith would be putting it lightly.
The youngster has taken to the rigours of Bundesliga football like a duck to water, directly contributing to 15 goals across his 15 league appearances to date.
Haaland’s late night troubles
As outlined above, though, while matters on the pitch have long proven of the highest standard for Haaland, footage doing the rounds on social media this weekend has showcased the former Molde man getting into a spot of bother off of it.
The video in question features Haaland being kicked out of a nightclub, reportedly in his home country of Norway.
The teen, who appears altogether unhappy with the treatment afforded to him, is pushed out on to the street, before turning back to make his anger with the club’s security team clear:
