Pulisic to miss out
Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic has been one of the standout stars for the USA for several years now.
The now Chelsea man has made 34 appearances for the USA, in which he has netted 14.
Pulisic has also been in superb form over the last few weeks for his club.
However, after Chelsea’s latest triumph over Crystal Palace this past weekend, Frank Lampard confirmed Pulisic had picked up a slight hip problem.
Now, the USA have stated via their official Twitter account that Pulisic will not feature in their upcoming games:
“Christian is officially at this stage ruled out. We just got that information. This was a collaborative decision with the club. looking after the best interest of the player…
“…These decisions are always difficult because this group and the coaching staff want nothing more than to have Christian here, but it was a risk we weren’t willing to take at this time.”
Speaking to media ahead of today’s training session, #USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter confirms that @cpulisic_10 will miss out on this month’s @CNationsLeague matches.
