Everton boss Marco Silva has this afternoon provided updates on the fitness of sidelined duo Theo Walcott and Yerry Mina.
Everton vs Burnley
The Toffees are set to welcome Sean Dyche’s men to Goodison Park tomorrow night, for a Premier League clash.
Everton head into proceedings on a solid run of form of late, having fallen to just 1 defeat across their last 6 league outings, a streak which has also seen them notch 4 victories.
The latest of these wins came 2 weeks ago, when the Merseysiders dished out a hugely-impressive 4-0 drubbing to Manchester United.
Burnley, though, will no doubt prove a tough nut to crack, with the Clarets also in the midst of a fine run of form.
A 4-game unbeaten streak for Sean Dyche’s side, which included a trio of victories and a credible draw at Stamford Bridge, was only brought to an end by table-toppers Manchester City last weekend.
Mina & Walcott boosts
And, ahead of his side’s meeting with the Clarets, Everton boss Marco Silva has this afternoon provided a fitness update on his squad.
Speaking in a press conference, the Portuguese tactician confirmed that both Yerry Mina and Theo Walcott will be available to feature tomorrow night.
Colombian stopper Mina has been sidelined for 6 weeks with a hamstring injury picked up whilst on international duty. Winger Walcott, meanwhile, has been struggling with illness of late:
‘They’re OK. They are working with the team.
‘They are fit and depending on my decisions, are available for the match.’
