‘Unwell’ Gareth Bale played golf
Real Madrid were back in action on Tuesday at the Audi Cup against Tottenham.
The match could have been an occasion for Gareth Bale to face his former employers, Spurs, but that wasn’t to be.
Zinedine Zidane claimed that Gareth Bale missed Real Madrid’s pre-season trip to Munich because he wasn’t feeling well.

Harry Kane was again Tottenham’s match-winner.
A terrible mistake from Real Madrid left-back Marcelo gifted possession to Kane in the first-half.
Clean through on goal, the Spurs and England striker beat Keylor Navas at his near post.
