Danny Welbeck’s injury
Since Unai Emery took over at Arsenal Danny Welbeck has improved dramatically.
The forward has been an excellent sub for Arsenal and has scored twice in four Europa League games for Arsenal.
However, during Arsenal’s last Europa League game vs Sporting, Welbeck would suffer a horrific injury.

It has since been revealed that Welbeck has undergone successful surgery on his right ankle.
However, the forward is still likely to be out for some time.
‘He looked very happy and I think he was happy to talk to us’
After Welbeck suffered the injury vs Sporting, Bernd Leno has revealed how Unai Emery used a FaceTime with Welbeck to motivate the squad before their game with Wolves.
“We talked to Danny in the meeting before the game, we had a FaceTime session with him.
“It was very good, we wanted to win for him.
“We all are sorry for him for his injury, and hope he will have a good recovery and to see him on the pitch because he’s an important player for the team and also in the dressing room.
“He looked very happy and I think he was happy to talk to us because he is still a big part of our team and we will support him to have a good time when he is injured.”
Arsenal 1 Wolves 1
While Arsenal may have been motivated by Welbeck vs Wolves, the Gunners would fail to claim all three points on Sunday.
Wolves would take the lead inside 12 minutes through Ivan Cavaleiro who was capitalising on a Granit Xhaka mistake.
Arsenal would eventually get back into the game as Henrikh Mkhitaryan came off the bench to level the game up.
However, Arsenal would fail to add a second before the fulltime whistle.
