Uganda vs Senegal live streaming: Match preview

One of the surprise packages of the tournament take on a side full of superstars.

Uganda opened their campaign by beating a highly fancied DR Congo team 2-0 thanks to goals from Patrick Kaddu and Emmanuel Okwi.

They were then held to a 1-1 draw by Zimbabwe and beaten 2-0 by Egypt but four points was enough to see them finish second in Group A.

This is their first appearance in the knockout stages since they finished as runners-up in 1978 and it will not be easy.

Senegal are fancied to go far this summer.

Les Lions de la Téranga began with a dominant 2-0 win over Tanzania; Keita Baldé Diao and Krépin Diatta the scorers.

However, Aliou Cissé’s side then came crashing back down to earth with a 1-0 defeat to the other big side in the group, Algeria.

Nevertheless, they comfortably beat Kenya 3-0 on Monday to secure second place in Group C.

In that one, Ismaïla Sarr spectacularly opened the scoring before Sadio Mané bagged a kick-fire brace.

Senegal have never won AFCON but, with a very talented squad, 2019 could be their year.

All the top players they have should see them past Uganda but it certainly won’t be easy.
