Carragher and Balotelli beef
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and Italy international striker Mario Balotelli have had a bit of beef on Twitter recently.
Balotelli, who has now left Liverpool for Nice on a free transfer, has responded to a tweet the former Reds defender did about him earlier this week.
When it was announced that Balotelli would leave Liverpool for Nice (on a free transfer) on transfer deadline day, Jamie Carragher had a little dig at the striker by tweeting: “Balotelli on a free is still paying over the odds by Nice.”
However, the Italian has now responded with his own little dig at the former Liverpool defender, by stating that Jamie Carragher was a bad player.
The controversial forward tweeted: “Jamie Carragher, bad player, wonderful hater, who cares.” along with a picture of a trophy labelled ‘Best Hater’.
Twitter reacts to the spat
With this spat between the two being all over Twitter for the world to see, it was only a matter of time before people saw the tweets and reacted.
Many fans and twitter accounts have made fun of the beef between the two and have called for them to fight it out – which of course, would be hilarious to watch!

Between that FIFA bellend and Balotelli, Carra is having quite the 24 hours, putting me to shame in the Twitter wind-up stakes tbh.
