Chelsea player Alvaro Morata has struggled this season at times, both with his fitness and goals – but there’s one thing he can do.
The forward has now scored more headed goals than any other player in the Premier League, and put Chelsea ahead against Tottenham Hotspur in their fight for a top four spot before the Blues were pegged back by a wonder goal from Christian Eriksen.
While people weren’t full of praise for Morata in terms of his overall performance, everyone noted just how much he loves a headed goal, and how it’s impressive he’s notched up more of them than any other player this season – despite being injured or on the bench for a big part of it.
The game is key to Chelsea and Antonio Conte knows that, given if the Blues do lose to Spurs at home for the first time in years, their hopes for a place in the top four are effectively over and the Europa League beckons for next season.

Alvaro Morata: figure of frustration, annoyance, impatience of late. But, right now: that ten year contract would go down just lovely.

Morata only plays with his head and not his heart

I think Morata hides sometimes. Twice he’s had the opportunity to make room for himself as Chelsea attack and he’s basically followed the defender so he’s marked
