Chelsea will of course return to Champions League action on Wednesday evening.

The Blues are set to play host to Real Madrid in the second of two Champions League semi-final ties.

And it is Thomas Tuchel’s men who will head into proceedings holding the advantage over Champions League specialists, Madrid.

Christian Pulisic fired the Londoners into the lead in Madrid last time out:

And though Karim Benzema went on to pull a goal back for Real, Chelsea’s goal of course came in the form of an away one – meaning they can draw 0-0 on Wednesday, and still secure a spot in the final.

Ahead of tomorrow night’s game, Thomas Tuchel held his latest pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

The German discussed a number of topics in the presser, including injury news.

Antonio Rudiger, who missed out on the Blues’ win over Fulham at the weekend, is expected to feature against Madrid whilst donning a mask, but Mateo Kovacic remains out of action:
