Travelling Man United fans make feelings regarding Woodward, Glazers & Solskjaer clear during Tranmere win

Ed Woodward

The travelling Manchester United fanbase at the club’s meeting with Tranmere Rovers this afternoon took firm aim at both Ed Woodward and the Glazers with a number of chants.

United run riot

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men got their FA Cup campaign back underway a short time ago, with a trip to Prenton Park.

The Red Devils faced off with League One strugglers Tranmere, with hopes of securing their spot in the competition’s last-16.

United, though, likely expected a tough afternoon’s work, with Micky Mellon’s outfit having ousted Premier League opposition, in the form of Watford, from the FA Cup on Thursday evening.

When all was said and done on Merseyside, however, this proved far from the case.

Solskjaer’s visitors proved absolutely dominant from start to finish, eventually romping to a 6-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

Woodward targeted

While proceedings on the pitch went swimmingly from a United perspective this afternoon, however, ongoings in the stands proved of a less positive nature.

In the midst of their side’s dominant display, the travelling Red Devils faithful made use of their opportunity to take aim at a number of the club’s higher-ups.

As showcased below, oft-criticised United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was heavily targeted once again.

Club owners the Glazers, meanwhile, were also on the receiving end of the ire of the away end at Prenton Park.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, though, was again backed:

The Manchester United fans involved backed up their chants by belting out ‘we’re Man United, we’ll sing what we want’:
