Zlatan’s awesome LA Galaxy debut

After leaving Manchester United, Zlatan made his debut off the bench for LA Galaxy in their first ever derby game with LAFC.

The visitors had lead 3-0 and were 3-1 up when Zlatan came on in the 71st minute.

On 77 minutes, Zlatan made it 3-3 with a quite brilliant long range effort.

One minute into injury time, Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the game with a headed goal from an Ashley Cole cross.

If you thought the legend of Zlatan had done enough for the week a new story has emerged in the US on Tuesday…

Zlatan rejected mega offer to join LA Galaxy

Grant Wahl, usually a good and reliable source for football news, has revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic rejected a $97 million deal from China to join LA Galaxy.

This claim comes via Jovan Kirovski, the LA Galaxy technical director, who claims the multiyear offer from China would have paid Zlatan $100 million in total.

Zlatan, however, was keen to sign for LA Galaxy on just $3 million.

Wahl writes: “Ibra in the end decided he didn’t need the money at this stage of his career.”

And, this was much to the chagrin of Zlatan’s famous agent Mino Raiola.
