Zinedine Zidane & Manchester United
The Times have posted a significant sentence on their website on Tuesday lunchtime.
The broadsheet have posted an update on the managerial situation at Man United after the Tottenham defeat.
Spurs won 3-0 at the Theatre of Dreams. Man United have now lost two Premier League games on the bounce.
Will Jose Mourinho still be in the United dugout by Christmas? Is the Special One cracking?
Amid those discussions, Zinedine Zidane has again been linked with Man United. The Times report:
The scrutiny on the United manager will intensify… if he loses at Turf Moor. Only on two occasions during the last 17 years have United lost three consecutive league matches. Both of those sequences occurred under Louis van Gaal, Mourinho’s predecessor, in 2015.
Zinédine Zidane has made it known that he would be interested in succeeding Mourinho if he left, but United have denied talking to the former Real Madrid coach.
Sadly the Times off no supporting evidence linking Zidane to Man United.
The Daily Mail have previously reported the same story, however.

Would Zinedine Zidane be successful at Man United?
That question was discussed in a post match interview on the Full Time Devils YouTube channel after the Spurs game.
The point was passionately made that Zidane would struggle to improve this current Man United side.
Man United board back Jose Mourinho
Yet, any immediate thoughts of Mourinho leaving Man United should be shelved.
As confirmed by the BBC’s Simon Stone on social media, Mourinho retains the backing of the Man United board.
Confidence @ManUtd remains that Jose Mourinho can turn present situation around. Sympathy for manager's view that first-half performance last night was a very good one. Burnley (1pt from 3 games and Europa League match to play on Thursday) next.
