West Ham reportedly eyeing Blackburn’s Adam Armstrong

West Ham eyeing a striker?
West Ham sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax last month.
This has, of course, reduced the Hammers’ options at centre-forward.
In turn, David Moyes and co. appeared to be in the market for some fresh legs up top throughout the January window.
The Londoners were linked with Arkadiusz Milik (who has since joined Marseille), Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard.
In the end, though, West Ham didn’t bring in a new striker, leaving them rather short up top until at least the summer.
Following transfer deadline day, Moyes confirmed that his side had indeed been on the lookout for a new centre-forward, but explained:
“We were looking and we had money to spend. But we are trying not to go down the same path as before. I am not going to sign players who have come in to appease people.”

West Ham linked with Adam Armstrong
Now, though, it appears that yet another name has found its way onto the Hammers’ attacking shortlist.
The player in question is Blackburn hitman Adam Armstrong, who has scored an impressive 17 goals in 26 Championship outings for the Rovers this term.
According to the Sun, David Moyes wants West Ham to continue scouting Armstrong.
The Londoners are believed to have considered tabling an £8m offer for the forward in January, but held off to assess whether or not he is worth the £10m+ Blackburn asking price:
