Pontus Jansson to West Ham?
West Ham look to have done just enough to stay in the Premier League this season.
The Hammers have 6 league games remaining and they are 6 points clear of the relegation zone.
Even if West Ham do survive, it is fair to say that their defence has really let them down on numerous occasions this season.
West Ham have conceded 58 goals this season, only Stoke and Watford have conceded more.
According to Guardian journalist Ed Aarons, West Ham are looking to sign Leeds defenders Pontus Jansson in order to solve their defensive fragilities.
West Ham are interested in signing Sweden defender Pontus Jansson from Leeds in the summer

Who is Pontus Jansson?
Jansson signed for Leeds on loan at the beginning of the 2016/17 season before the club made the deal permanent during the following summer.
The Swedish centre back has played almost every single game for Leeds this season and has popped up with some very important goals too.
Jansson captained Sweden last month against Romania and is sure to travel to Russia for this summer’s World Cup.
Leeds would need a miracle to get promoted to the Premier League this season and if Jansson wants to play in England’s top flight, he will have to leave Elland Road.
Will West Ham stay up?
West Ham have 6 games remaining but they are going to be seriously tough.
David Moyes’ team face Stoke City in a real relegation six pointer on Monday.
After that, West Ham face Arsenal, Manchester City, Leicester, Manchester United and Everton.
Southampton have some tough games too but knowing the Premier League, there are many shocks and turn ready in waiting for us.
If West Ham win against Stoke on Monday, their place in the Premier League should be all but safe.
