Tottenham, Lazio & Keita Balde
Did Tottenham fans ever think the final few days of the summer transfer window wouldn’t be hectic?
It took Tottenham quite a while to get going in the summer market, but with less than a week to go things are revving up.
Spurs have already broken their club transfer record signing Colombian international defender Davinson Sanchez from Ajax.
Argentine defender Juan Foyth is also expected to sign for Spurs before August 31. While rumours have got louder on Wednesday that Lazio winger Keita Balde may also be joining Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
Corriere dello Sport update
Tottenham’s attempts to sign Keita Balde are revealed on the front page of Italian daily Corriere dello Sport on Wednesday.
The splash informs readers of the following: “Keita, the right offer arrives from London – Tottenham prepare €30m for the Biancocelesti winger”.

A 22-year-old Senegalese international, Keita enjoyed a breakout campaign in the Italian top flight last season. He racked up 16 goals and 3 assists in 35 appearances for Lazio.
So why is he on the market?
Keita was left out of his side’s Italian Super Cup match with Juventus: Lazio won 3-2.
With the versatile attacker’s contract in the Italian capital set to expire next summer, Tottenham are hopeful of securing a deal for Keita at a cut price.
Georges-Kevin N’Koudou out
At the same time as the Keita rumours circle, Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Georges-Kevin N’Koudou could be on his way out of Tottenham.
Di Marioz confirms that Hellas Verona have made a move for the French winger.
Is it a case of N’Koudou out, Keita in for Spurs?
In other Tottenham transfer news, PSG defender Serge Aurier also remains a target, while the Lillywhites are still in the running for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
