Tottenham’s Joe Rodon has been told to find a new club this summer, according to reports.
Rodon was signed by Tottenham in October of 2020 from Championship outfit, Swansea City.
Spurs are understood to have paid the Welsh outfit just shy of £11m for the defender’s services.
However, despite being at the club for around a year now and a half, Rodon has only managed to notch 22 appearances across all competitions for the Lilywhites.
This may have something to do with the fact Tottenham are now on their 3rd permanent manager since Rodon joined the club, with Ryan Mason also being placed in temporary charge at the back end of the 2020/21 campaign.
And with Rodon still fairly inexperienced at the top level, it is easy to see why an incoming manager may wish to avoid using the 24-year-old too much and instead go for more experienced options.

Rodon told to leave
In turn, it is not at all surprising to see Football Insider report that Spurs have told Rodon to find a new club this summer.
It is added that Rodon himself has already made up his mind at the beginning of March that he will be leaving in the summer.
Both Brighton and Newcastle are said to be interested in the centre-back.
