The ever reliable Scouts in Attendance have been revealing which clubs sent spies across Europe this weekend, and Tottenham reportedly had a pair of eyes in the Bundesliga.
A Spurs scout watched FC Cologne beat Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 on Saturday.
The only goal of the game came from Anthony Modeste in the 64th minute.
While it’s unknown which player Spurs could have been scouting, a few players have been mentioned as possible targets.
For Cologne, German international left-back Jonas Hector and defensive midfielder Kevin Vogt may have drummed up interest.
As for Gladbach, their star player is former Chelsea midfielder Thorgan Hazard.

It was a good weekend for Spurs as they claimed a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane on Sunday. New signing Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the game.
Tottenham are up to ninth in the Premier League following back-to-back victories.
Next up for Spurs is a North London Derby against Arsenal on Wednesday night in the Capital One Cup.
