Tottenham, Lucas Moura & Malcom
Tottenham have yet to make any signings in the January transfer window.
And considering how Daniel Levy often operates in these circumstances, you can bet that Spurs will take their time and haggle for the best deal possible.
Levy is one of the fiercest negotiators in world football, while Mauricio Pochettino is blessed with one of the best young squads in the league.
On Sunday, leading French TV show Telefoot claimed Tottenham are in the race for two Ligue 1 midfielder.
The first is PSG’s Lucas Moura, who has been linked to Man United previously.
The second is Bordeaux’s Maclom, who has been targetted by Arsenal in the January window.
Battling with Arsenal
The way Telefoot tell the story, Lucas Moura’s & Malcom’s futures are intertwined.
It’s believed that whichever north London rival manages to snare Malcom first, the losers could pick up Lucas Moura instead.

Some Spurs fans are meanwhile hoping Tottenham could lock down both Lucas Moura and Malcom this January.
The theory has been floated that Spurs could agree with Malcom that he’d only leave Bordeaux in the summer, while Lucas could be offered a loan with an option to buy in the interim.
Over the weekend, claims Malcom is Tottenham bound got louder.
Tottenham are understood to have made an offer worth £35m plus an extra £9m in add-ons for Malcom, a fee Bordeaux are pleased with.
The north Londoners are now expected to finalise an agreement with the Ligue 1 side and see the player link up with them in the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino is said to have met with Malcom, a player of whom he is a huge fan, convincing him to chose Tottenham.
