Tottenham confirm seventh summer signing

Tottenham have announced their seventh signing of the 2022 summer transfer window on Tuesday.


That man is Destiny Udogie of Udinese, who has now returned to the Serie A side on loan for the 2022/23 season.

Spurs confirmed the news in a statement: “We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Destiny Udogie from Udinese.

“The defender has agreed a deal that will run until 2027 and will return to the Serie A side on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.”

Tottenham have now signed seven players so far this summer.

Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster joined the club on free transfers after leaving Inter Milan and Southampton.

Elsewhere, Clement Lenglet has signed for the Lilywhites on loan from FC Barcelona, whilst Djed Spence, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison all made the switch to north London on a permanent basis.
