Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has, on Friday, provided an insight into the current fitness levels in his squad.
The Reds, of course, are currently in the midst of preparations for a crunch fixture this weekend.
On the back of something of a hit-and-miss opening to the campaign, Klopp’s troops are primed to make the trip to Goodison Park, for a Premier League derby showdown with arch rivals Everton.
As such, it is safe to say that all associated with Saturday’s visitors will no doubt be hopeful of as many of the club’s star performers as possible being fit and ready to feature from the off.
Speaking to the media earlier today, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his squad’s wellbeing was put to the aforementioned Klopp.
And, first, the German tactician went on to confirm that deadline day arrival Arthur will not be at his disposal this weekend, owing to a delay in securing international clearance.

The former is awaiting the results of a scan on a hamstring injury, whilst Guinean international Keita ‘will be out for a while’ with a fresh muscular complaint.
In more positive news from a Liverpool perspective, though, Thiago Alcantara is expected to return to first-team training early next week.
Fellow absentee Ibrahima Konate, meanwhile, is in line to mark his comeback around the international break.
