Man United will buy to catch up with Manchester City
There remains plenty of speculation as to what Manchester United will do this coming January transfer window.
Speculation is rife that Manchester United have to sell to buy. Whilst Jose Mourinho has hinted about interest from PSG in an attempt to push the Old Trafford hierarchy to back him.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are streaking away with the Premier League, having dropped just two points in their opening 13 matches.
With Manchester United having conceded just six goals all season, it is becoming obvious that the difference between the two sides is their respective attacks.
Manchester City have scored 42 goals this season. Manchester United are the next best on 28.
Manchester United target four left-footers
On Monday, the Manchester Evening News claims that Manchester United hope to improve their attack by signing four left-footers.
It seems unlikely that Manchester United will sign all of Danny Rose, Gareth Bale, Antoien Griezmann and Mesut Ozil but there is certainly something in this theme.
Manchester United have failed to look anywhere near as threatening down the left as they do on the right hand side this season.
The fact right footer Ashley Young has been playing left wing back says a lot about this Manchester United side.
Rose, Bale, Griezmann & Ozil
Danny Rose continues to be the most likely Manchester United signing next summer and perhaps in the January transfer window.
The Spurs left back was again dropped from Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the 1-1 draw with West Brom on Saturday.
Rose is expected to play for Tottenham at Leicester on Tuesday night.
Gareth Bale has consistently been linked with Manchester United in recent years and should return from injury in the Copa del Rey this week.
Do Griezmann & Ozil have the same two clubs chasing after them?
Meanwhile, both Antoine Griezmann and Mesut Ozil have similar choices if reports are to be believed: A transfer to either Manchester United or Barcelona.
As it stands, expect Manchester United links with these four players for some time yet…
