Heung-Min Son rumours just will not go away

For much of the summer window, Heung-Min Son was linked with a move away from Tottenham.

The South Korean suffered an injury hit campaign during his first season at Spurs and has recently been away at the Olympics.

Son, who did not play for South Korea this week, in order to train with Spurs and prove himself to Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a return to the Bundesliga where he is still highly regarded.

At the end of the summer transfer window, Wolfsburg were linked with Son when rumours began that PSG were making a mega move for Julian Draxler.

On Tuesday, Bild have confirmed that Son remains a target for Wolfsburg.

Will Spurs sell Son in January?

Wolfsburg Managing Director Klaus Allofs is quoted as saying by Bild: “He [Son] is a very interesting player for us.”

Bild reveal that Wolfsburg offered 32 million euros for Son in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham are asking for 40 million euros to sell He is a very interesting player for Heung-Min Son.

The German newspaper expect another Wolfsburg bid for Son come in the January transfer window.

Son will be keen to play for Tottenham this coming Saturday at Stoke, to prove his worth. Erik Lamela is unlikely to start due to travelling back from Argentina’s South American World Cup qualifier in Venezuela.

This may mean a start for new Tottenham signing Moussa Sissoko.
