Kyle Walker & Danny Rose in outstanding form

Just a few years ago, even Spurs fans would have been amused when talking about big money offers for full backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose.

Before the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino, Walker always had a mistake in him and Spurs fans infamously reacted badly to Rose’s contract extension, just after the Argentine arrived at the club.

These days things are very different. So good have Walker and Rose been for Tottenham that a move to three at the back makes sense since so much of their attacking play comes down the flanks.

£60m for the pair

On Tuesday morning, Walker and Rose feature on the back of The Sun with the claim that the two big Manchester clubs are keen on the Spurs full backs.

Phil Cadden reports: “Jose Mourinho will take on Pep Guardiola in a bid to sign Spurs’ flying full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose. The Manchester United boss wants his club to push the boat out with a sensational £60million move for BOTH England internationals.”

Since there is no chance either Spurs full back would leave in January, it could well be in the summer where Daniel Levy is tested by United or City with big money offers for one or both of his full backs.

Walker, Rose, Dele, Kane, Poch…

Tottenham‘s excellent recent form appears to have opened up a slew of players to potential big money moves.

Besides Walker and Rose, Dele Alli is continually linked with Real Madrid & Barcelona plus Harry Kane is also supposedly a target of Manchester United.

Whilst in the past few days, Mauricio Pochettino had to play down reports linking him with the Barcelona job.

As the poorest club in the Premier League top six, Spurs fans will likely have to get used to these rumours. Luckily for them almost all there big stars (besides Toby Alderweireld) have signed recent contracts…
