Napoli v Atalanta
The big game in Serie A on Saturday night saw top three hopefuls Napoli and Atalanta duke it out in Naples.
Napoli came into the game with only two home defeats all season, but they fell 2-0 after 70 minutes. Mattia Caldara scored in each half for the visitors, while they were reduced to ten men when Frank Kessie was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 67th minute.
According to rumours from Italian media during the game, Man United had a scout in the Stadio San Paolo.
Looking at three players
Man United were reported looking at three players.
First was 23-year-old Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj. Second was Napoli’s 22-year-old Polish midfielder Piotr Zieliński. And the final players was 20-year-old Kessie, who was sent off.
Does that mean Man United will make a move for any of these players? No, but it’s interesting.
The Red Devils take on Southampton in the EFL Cup final on Sunday at Wembley.
There are reports in Italy that Man United has a scout currently at Napoli-Atalanta to watch Hysaj, Zielinski and Kessie
