Alexis Sanchez & Arsenal
There’s plenty for Arsenal fans to be excited about on Tuesday.
The Gunners have already picked up defender Sead Kolasinac for free in the summer transfer window, while today could be the day that Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette finally joins Arsenal too.
If that wasn’t enough, a significant rumour has sprung up from a Chilean source regarding Alexis Sanchez.
In huge news, it’s been announced “Sanchez will not move from Arsenal”.
Alexis Sánchez no se mueve de Arsenal.

What does that mean?
The Alexis Sanchez update was posted on social media by a Chilean journalist called Juan Luis.
He works for a website called El Filtrador, which, to be honest, we’ve never heard of before.
Unhelpfully, Juan Luis also failed to give any context to his Alexis update.
Taking it on face value, however, one suspects it means Sanchez will remain at Arsenl for the remainder of his contract – one more season – before he’ll be able to leave the Emirates as a free agent.
At that point Sanchez could join any of Arsenal’s Premier League rivals for nothing.
‘Next days are crucial’
Contrasting the confidence of the Juan Luis tweet, leading Chilean paper El Mercurio have an update on Alexis on their website too.
They claim the next few days are pivotal for Sanchez, as he’s now on holiday after competing in the Confederations Cup.
El Mercurio list three options for the Chilean star.
The first option is join Man City, although it’s noted the Sky Blues have yet to lodge an official bid.
Second, Sanchez could join Bayern Munich, although this option appears to have subsided in recent days.
Finally, Alexis may stay at Arsenal, which could even see the forward agree a new deal with the Gunners.
