According to a number of English media outlets, Chelsea’s plans for the summer transfer market include signing a world-class centre forward, regardless of whether or not starting striker Diego Costa secures a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League.
Of the reported targets for Antonio Conte’s side, the two most frequently touted names are Romelu Lukaku of Everton and Real Madrid super-sub Alvaro Morata.
And it is the latter of the two who has today dropped a huge hint that a summer move to London could be on the cards, after following a number of Blues’ stars on Instagram.

Morata was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League last summer, after Real Madrid re-signed him from Italian champions Juventus.
In an interview with The Guardian, the Spanish international revealed:
‘Various Premier League coaches called to tell me to play for them.’
‘I said “yeah, I’d like to”, that if I had to leave I would almost certainly go to London, but that I didn’t know what Madrid would do.’
‘I knew they’d bring me back but I didn’t know if it was to keep me or sell me.’
‘I spoke directly to Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte, although the norm is clubs call my dad or agent.’
Morata also recently revealed that he feels he will play under Blues’ boss Conte ‘someday.’
The product of Real Madrid’s youth academy has enjoyed a spectacular campaign for the Blancos so far this term, managing 20 goals despite limited playing time, with Karim Benzema having kept the 24-year-old on the bench for the most-part.
